Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with specialized experience in Medical / Surgical care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

This position includes a variable schedule with 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical environment.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding health and wellness.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical / Surgical setting.
  • Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Current NIH Stroke Certification.
  • Preferred: AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.

Holiday Expectations

The Registered Nurse must be able to work on 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve).

This position is located in a facility within the vicinity of the greater region of City, State.
