Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for an Acute GI Medicine Unit requiring 2+ years of recent specialty experience and current BLS and NIH certifications.

Details

• Acute GI Medicine Unit within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 3 shifts per week
• Varying weekly schedule
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• AHA ACLS certification preferred

Additional Information

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Returning perm staff must have a 2 year break before returning as a traveler
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• RTO must be requested prior to accepting an offer
