Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Cardiology Unit Med/Surg position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience and the ability to work every other weekend on night shifts.

Details

• Work setting is an acute cardiology unit (606A) within a hospital environment
• 12-hour night shifts (7PM–7PM)
• 3 shifts per week
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend is required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or acute cardiology nursing experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Any time-off requests must be submitted upfront — RTO cannot be requested after an offer is extended

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have taken at least a 2-year break before being considered
• EMR experience should be noted in your work history
