Job Description

Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois.

CVICU RN / Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit RN

Strong requirements:

  • 2+ years solid CVICU experience — must be able to work independently
  • 20-bed monitored CVICU
  • Post-CABG, valve, dissection, AAA, vascular, carotid, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, TAVR, severe HF
  • Ventilated patients
  • IABP, Impella, Swan-Ganz, ECMO, CRRT
  • Temporary transcutaneous/transvenous pacing
  • Multiple titratable cardiac/vasoactive drips
  • Must interpret cardiac rhythms
  • EPIC
  • BLS required; ACLS preferred, CCRN a plus
  • Every other weekend
  • Float to every level of care
  • 12-hour nights, 7 PM–7 AM
  • 48 hrs/week guaranteed
