Travel Agent
We're looking for a travel agent to help clients plan and book memorable trips—whether a weekend getaway, a multi-country adventure, or a corporate travel itinerary.
What You'll Do
- Consult with clients to understand their travel goals, preferences, and budget
- Research and recommend destinations, accommodations, transportation, tours, and activities
- Book flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, and travel packages
- Arrange visas, travel insurance, and other documentation as needed
- Monitor bookings and proactively communicate changes, delays, or disruptions
- Resolve issues that arise before or during travel
- Stay current on travel trends, destination updates, entry requirements, and supplier offerings
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors to secure competitive rates and perks
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Prior work in travel planning, hospitality, or customer service preferred, but not required, we train!
- Destination knowledge: Familiarity with popular and emerging travel destinations
- Booking systems: Comfort with online booking tools
- Communication: Strong listening skills and clear, friendly written and verbal communication
- Problem-solving: Calm under pressure, resourceful when plans change
- Detail orientation: Accurate with itineraries, documentation, and billing
- Sales aptitude: Able to match client needs with upsell opportunities without being pushy
