Job Summary:
Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical Nurse in Redwood City, California. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care within an outpatient clinical setting, focusing on adult patients. The registered nurse will contribute to patient assessments, treatment plans, and care coordination to support recovery and health maintenance in accordance with clinical guidelines and standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: CA-Registered Nurse (RN) license; current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred; at least 1 year of experience in an outpatient clinic setting, with gastrointestinal (GI) experience preferred but not required; triage, care coordination, and inbasket experience would be very helpful; ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in outpatient clinics, triage, care coordination, and inbasket management; GI experience preferred but not required.
• Additional Information: The role requires an RN licensed in California, with current BLS certification. The Clinical Nurse will provide hands-on patient care, perform assessments, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and educate patients and families. The position emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and professional development.
