Travel Anesthesia Technician - $1,709 per week in Torrance, CA

Job Title: Anesthesia Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Anesthesia Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours (15:00 - 23:30) Experience: 2 years License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, ASATT, Cer.A.T.T preferred Must-Have: Experience in assisting anesthesia providers in critical situations. Experience with anesthesia machines, including check-out and troubleshooting. Ability to perform patient positioning and transport to the operating room. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and emergency intubations. Skills in documentation of procedures and specimen handling. Description: This position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Evening shifts start at 3:00 PM. Weekend requirements include 2 weekends every 13 weeks and 2-4 weeknight on-call shifts within a 6-week schedule. No requests for time off are allowed within the first 2 weeks. Scheduling requests are limited, with a maximum of 10 days allowed. Strong skills in operating room safety, infection control, and patient care are necessary. Experience with various surgical procedures, including general surgery, orthopedic, and vascular procedures, is preferred. The candidate will work within an interdisciplinary team to provide patient care. Documentation and equipment handling will be essential functions of the role. Flexibility in scheduling and adaptability to changing assignments are required. The candidate must comply with all policies and procedures regarding background checks and credentialing. Knowledge of charting systems is preferred. Traveler candidates may be accepted, provided they meet the experience and certification requirements.
