- Weekly Pay:$1950 to $2150
Responsibilities
- Prepare anesthesia machines, monitors, and equipment before surgical procedures
- Inspect, troubleshoot, clean, and maintain anesthesia equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Set up operating rooms with required anesthesia supplies, medications, and airway management equipment
- Assist anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) during induction, maintenance, and recovery phases of anesthesia
- Perform equipment calibration and routine preventive maintenance according to facility guidelines
- Restock anesthesia carts, medication trays, and emergency airway supplies
- Assist with invasive monitoring equipment, IV pumps, infusion devices, and specialty anesthesia equipment
- Maintain accurate equipment logs and documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, sterilization, and patient safety protocols
- Respond promptly to urgent equipment needs during emergency procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and perioperative staff to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Anesthesia Technician experience in an acute care hospital or surgical setting
- ASAAT (American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians) Certification – Required
- Current BLS Certification required
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment, airway devices, monitoring systems, and operating room procedures
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining anesthesia machines and related equipment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced operating room environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Experience using electronic documentation systems preferred
