Join an Interventional Radiology team providing advanced patient care and procedural support under the supervision of a physician. This role delivers age-appropriate care across the lifespan while assisting with a wide range of image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Requirements:
Active Radiology Specialist Assistant (RSA) credentials (as required by state/facility)
Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred
Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced procedural setting
Responsibilities:
Perform patient assessments and provide direct patient care within scope of practice
Assist physicians with Interventional Radiology procedures
Perform fluoroscopic procedures, including barium studies
Perform joint injections under fluoroscopic or ultrasound guidance
Conduct paracentesis and thoracentesis
Place abscess drains using ultrasound or CT guidance
Perform bone marrow biopsies
Perform ultrasound- and CT-guided biopsies
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and patient confidentiality requirements.
