Job Description
The Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health will provide quality nursing care to geriatric patients within a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in psychiatric and behavioral health nursing, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients facing various mental health challenges.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health and behavior.
- Implement and evaluate care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment and recovery.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care strategies.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN license in Tennessee.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in behavioral health or related fields.
