Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a psychiatric and behavioral health setting. The RN will work collaboratively with a healthcare team to support patient treatment, conduct assessments, administer medications, and engage in therapeutic interactions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient admissions, discharges, and shift assessments
• Administer medications according to protocols and de-escalate potential crises
• Respond to CODE Blues and manage violent situations with appropriate interventions
• Utilize EHR systems (HCS, Pyxis) for documentation and medication management
• Facilitate therapeutic activities and monitor patient progress

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a psychiatric setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Handle With Care (HWC) certification preferred
• Associates Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license
