Job Title: Psych Tech Profession: Psych Tech Specialty: Child/Adolescent Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12.0 Experience: 2 years of recent experience License: Associate's Degree in Psychology or Sociology Certifications: BLS from AHA Must-Have: Experience working with children/adolescents ranging from ages 8 - 18 Description: Looking for a compassionate team player to provide direct care and clinical services to in-patient psychiatric patients on an individual basis. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, social, and psychiatric rehabilitation as directed by the RN. Effectively communicate with patients to ensure access to required services. Inform the RN of any changes in patient condition. Participate in rounds and group therapy as needed.
