Travel Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)

We’re seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in Vallejo, California. This role is ideal for individuals experienced in acute or long-term mental healthcare who excel at patient interaction and de-escalation techniques.

Location: Vallejo, CA
High School Diploma/GED – Required
Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent – Preferred
2+ years experience in acute or long-term mental healthcare – Preferred
Licensure: LVN/LPN or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) – Required
CPI/TEAM Certification – Required
BLS (AHA or ARC) – Required
Provide direct care to behavioral health patients
Use de-escalation techniques and less restrictive interventions
Support nursing staff in patient monitoring and safety
Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and interventions
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team
