Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Technologist II with 5+ years of experience and ARRT/RCIS certification for a 13-week assignment at a high-volume academic cath lab.

Details

• Work in a 7-room cardiac catheterization lab with a hybrid OR, all rooms upgraded within the past 1-5 years
• 12-bay peri-procedural space available for patient prep and recovery
• Lab averages more than 30 cases per day, ranging from outpatient RHC and stable coronary angiograms to complex coronary, structural, and vascular interventions
• Epic used for charting; Siemens Sensis system used for hemodynamic measurements
• Schedule consists of (3) 12-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call possible, though no weekend or holiday shifts are worked
• Call expectations include 1-3 weeknights total and possibly one weekend during the 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist required
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience required
• ARRT and RCIS certification required
• ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Active MA license required at time of consideration; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• License required if applicable
• Epic charting experience required

• Act as a critical member of the patient care team, collaborating with other staff to ensure continuity of care
• Promote a philosophy of patient/family-focused care in all interactions
• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston may be considered at a reduced rate
