Description

American Traveler is hiring a Rad Tech for Cardiac Cath Lab requiring ARRT certification and 2+ years of experience in a high-volume interventional setting.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab in Atlanta, GA
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call requirements apply
• Average caseload of 25-30 cases per day
• Procedures include Y-90 chemoembolizations, cerebral angiograms with thrombectomy and intervention, subarachnoid hemorrhage cases, TIPS, G-tube placements, uterine fibroid embolization, all forms of vascular access, PTC, and renal and liver biopsies
• Uses GE Innova, Philips Allura, OEC 9900 C-Arm, and ultrasound equipment

Requirements

• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab required
• License required if applicable
• Travel experience preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Former employees of this health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to 5 days when not falling on or near a holiday, and 3 days when falling on or near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed per assignment
• Scrubs and dress code items are hospital provided
• First-time travelers may be considered
