• Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Cardiac Cath Lab RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Fort Walton Beach, Florida
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 6/15/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Shift Time: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Call Requirement: STEMI call approximately 10-12 days per month
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling available
• Unit Focus: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Floating: May float within EP and Stress Lab departments
• Technology: GE Innova, Impella, MacLab, Meditech

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with Structural Heart procedures preferred
• Strong skills in IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity cardiovascular care environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of cardiac catheterization lab procedures
• Support interventional cardiology and structural heart cases, including TAVR, PFO, atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, DCCV, and TEE
• Provide safe, compassionate patient care during advanced cardiovascular interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure smooth patient flow
• Monitor patient condition closely during procedures and respond appropriately to changes
• Document nursing care accurately and follow established unit protocols
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment with experienced staff and strong clinical support
