Job Summary Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse Location unspecified. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the cardiac catheterization lab, assisting with advanced cardiovascular procedures such as cardiac angiography, interventions, and device placements. The position supports a fast-paced environment with daily case volume ranging from 25 to 30 cases.
Job Details
Position Description: Cardiovascular nurse working in the catheterization laboratory, performing procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, cardiac ablation, device implantations, and more, utilizing complex equipment and techniques.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
Education Requirements: Relevant nursing license held at time of submission.
Unit Details: Daily census of 25-30 cases with 8 procedure rooms, supporting adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid license in applicable discipline, 1 year of experience in cardiac cath lab or similar environment, proficient in activated clotting time, angioplasty, arrhythmia induction, pacemaker procedures, and related interventions.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EP procedures and additional advanced cardiovascular certifications.
Additional Information: The role may require overnight, weekend, and holiday call coverage. Travelers will be expected to float to like units as needed. Brief orientation on the unit will be provided; modules are completed onsite during orientation.
