Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position on night shift, requiring prior cath lab experience and an active SC or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab with 2 procedure labs
• Approximately 10 cases performed daily
• Uses GE x-ray equipment
• Documentation via Maclab and Meditech systems
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Required to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• On-call requirement of 7-9 call days monthly, including at least 1 weekend

Requirements

• Active RN license (SC or compact)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience
• Advanced emergency medication knowledge required
• Experience with procedures including LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform interventional cardiac procedures including LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP
• Work alongside hospital staff in a collaborative Cath Lab team setting
• Scrubs are provided as part of the dress code
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
