Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Nashville, Tennessee.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Location

Nashville, TN

Unit Information

  • Number of Procedure Rooms: 11
  • Patient Ratios: 1 patient to 3 staff
  • Unit Staffing: Cath/EP Techs and Cath/EP RNs
  • Type of Equipment: GE and Philips x-ray systems, Volcano IVUS/FFR, Merge Hemo
  • Documentation System: Merge Hemo and Meditech
  • Scheduling Requirements: 4 x 10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Floating Policy: Only float to prep and recovery

Patient Experience Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) - Active RN license, ACLS, and BLS certification required.

Requested Skill Set

Ideal candidates should possess the following:

  • Experience in monitoring and circulating in cath lab and/or EP procedures.
  • Advanced skills in BLS and ACLS.
  • Experience in Cath Lab and/or EP Lab.

Procedures Performed

Procedures conducted in the unit include:

  • Cath Lab: Diagnostic procedures, PCI, Rotoblator, Laser atherectomies, ECMO, TAVR, MitraClips, Watchman, IVUS, FFR, complex PCI, CTO, Shockwave, and Penumbra.
  • EP Lab: EP studies, pacemakers, ICD, ablations (excluding cryo ablations), Micra pacemakers, loop recorders, and lead extractions, including laser lead extractions.

Dress Code

All staff are required to wear scrubs.
