Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) RN position is located in Portland, Oregon. This role involves floater responsibilities across multiple units within the organization, with a focus on providing specialized cardiac care in a short-term acute care environment. It is suitable for professionals with prior catheterization lab experience who can adapt to various clinical settings.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting 08/31/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Oregon license; at least 1 year of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab; certifications including ACLS, BLS; skills in End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Cardiac Stent Placement, Cardiac Catheterizations (Adult), Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab procedures, and other interventional cardiology skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a Short Term Acute Care facility; experience with Epic charting system; background in community hospital settings.
- Special Requirements: Must have a vehicle for assignment; proficiency in performing angioplasty, embolization, and other interventional procedures; ability to float to different units based on unit needs; willingness to work a holiday schedule, with requests for specific scheduling to be made upfront.
- Additional Information: The role involves performing complex cardiac procedures, including angiography, stent placements, and management of patients undergoing various cardiac interventions. Certification in ACLS and BLS is mandatory. Candidates should be prepared to float between facilities and units as needed and adhere to all clinical and operational protocols.
