Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a hospital setting in Frisco, Texas. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the cardiac catheterization lab, supporting a variety of procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker implants, PEVs, EP ablations, and stress tests. The position offers a consistent daytime schedule and requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in cardiac procedures.
Job Details
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 09/07/2026
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years Cath lab experience; critical thinking skills; ability to work independently; Certifications in ACLS and BLS; located within reasonable proximity to the assigned facility. No additional experience requirements apply.
- Preferred Qualifications: MacLab monitoring experience (training available); Circulating EP procedures (training available).
- Patient Ratios: Typically staffed with 2 RNs, 3 full-time techs, 2 PRN techs, and 1 shared RN during day shifts; 3-person call team selected for on-call coverage.
- Responsibilities: Supporting cardiac cath procedures, pacemaker implants, electrophysiology activities, and stress testing; maintaining equipment and patient safety.
- Additional Information: The unit is part of a boutique hospital in downtown Frisco, known for its relaxed environment, supportive team, and proximity to local attractions. Call days and weekends are included, but the department maintains a manageable pace with a friendly team.
