Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring Cardiac Cath, CRM & PV experience at a Level II Trauma Center.

Details

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab with 5 procedure suites within a Level II Trauma Center
• Unit staffed by 1 Director, 1 CNC, approximately 4.6 staff RNs, and 5 techs
• Patient ratio of 1 patient to 3-4 staff members
• Day shift assignment from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Night shift coverage handled by on-call crew for emergent cases only
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cath, peripheral vascular, pacer, ICD, Watchman, TAVR, and EP/ABL procedures
• Utilizes specialized equipment including Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, and Rotoblator
• Charts in MacLab and Meditech
• 13-week assignment
• Required to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS and other required certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab required
• Cardiac Cath, CRM, and PV experience required
• EP/ABL experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required for FL placements

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiac cath lab environment
• Navy blue scrubs required for RN staff
• Facility is a 383-bed hospital designated as a Level II Trauma Center
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
