Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

Join our dynamic team in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Holding Area, providing specialized nursing care across a spectrum of procedural services. The Holding Area is essential for pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure recovery, and Phase I/II PACU-level care for patients experiencing a variety of cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to ensure safe procedural preparation.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and care processes.
• Provide procedural support and assist with hemodynamic monitoring.
• Manage moderate sedation recovery and ensure patient safety throughout all phases of care.
• Address acute and non-acute clinical situations effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Commit to delivering exceptional patient outcomes through teamwork and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Current RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience with telemetry is required.
• Recent experience in Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab preferred.

Schedule

This position requires a 40-hour workweek consisting of four 10-hour shifts, with a day/night rotation and occasional weekend availability, based on unit needs.
