Job Summary Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Specialist in Iowa. This position involves providing specialized care within the cardiac catheterization laboratory, primarily focusing on patients requiring coronary PCI, structural heart procedures, and related interventions. The role requires technical expertise in handling equipment such as Impella, IABP, and Penumbra devices, along with clinical experience in cardiac catheterization procedures.
Job Details
Qualifications: 24 months of current Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) experience, Iowa (IA) license or a valid multi-state license at the time of submission, valid American Heart Association or ARC/Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications, and a drivers license.
Schedule: Days shift, 9-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities: Conducting cardiac catheterization procedures, operating specialized equipment, managing patient care for coronary PCI and structural heart cases, and adhering to clinical protocols.
Additional Information: First-time travelers are welcome. Orientation dates are scheduled for 9/21, 9/28, and 10/5. Candidates must have at least two years of cath experience and experience with vasopressors, vasodilators, glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors, and EPIC Cupid electronic medical records are highly preferred. The role involves work during upcoming summer holidays, with required on-call shifts including weekends.
