Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a TX or compact RN license and prior cath lab experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• Uses EPIC EMR charting system
• 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 0700-1730 with a rotating day off
• 10-12 days of call per month including weekend rotation
• May float to the ED to serve as a sitter or to med-surg floors to answer call lights during down times

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required, pending licenses not accepted
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BSN not required for this position
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within the Cardiac Cath Lab, including support during procedures and coverage on medical-surgical or ED units as needed
• Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year; PRN employment through outside firms is acceptable
