Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse - Location unspecified. This role involves coordinating and implementing patient care within the specialized Cardiac Cath Lab unit. Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact state license; BLS Certification via AHA required; ACLS Certification via AHA required; 3 years of clinical experience in the specialty of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab environment, knowledge of cardiac procedures and patient care standards in cardiology settings
• Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and record patient assessments, establish priorities based on patient status and needs
  • Develop and implement measurable, individualized care plans within established timeframes
  • Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on patient outcomes and modify care plans accordingly
  • Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and timely interventions
  • Perform Point of Care testing procedures pertinent to cardiology care
  • Delegate and coordinate team assignments to ensure patient care quality
  • Support the orientation and training of new staff and students
  • Exhibit effective communication and foster a positive work environment
  • Collaborate to achieve unit and organizational goals
  • Promote positive patient and customer relations, respecting patient rights and confidentiality
  • Adhere to all safety and organizational policies and procedures
  • Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and commitment to professional growth
