Job Summary: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) Evanston, IL. This full-time position involves providing exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations undergoing cardiovascular procedures. The role requires collaboration with physicians, preparing and maintaining procedural rooms, monitoring physiologic data, and supporting quality improvement initiatives within a cardiovascular laboratory setting.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a 30-minute on-call response time requirement.
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification required upon hire and maintained; at least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care environment; minimum experience of 0 years.
Required Qualifications include current licensure, certifications, and clinical experience as specified above.
Working hours: 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Additional Information: This role involves supporting device preparation, managing supplies, monitoring patient physiologic data during procedures, and participating in performance improvement activities.
