Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Specialist in Richmond, Virginia. This position involves supporting cath lab procedures such as ablations, device implants, LAAO procedures, and lead management in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role requires adaptability and strong clinical skills to ensure optimal patient care within the cath lab setting.

Job Details

Shift Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have ACLS and BLS certifications, and possess experience in circulating, scrubbing, or monitoring ablation procedures (Afib, Aflutter, VT, SVT, PVC), LAAO procedures (Watchman, Amulet), device implants (PPM, ICD, Bi-V PPM/ICD). Education requirements include relevant certifications or degrees, and experience must meet a minimum of 1 year. Location requirements specify candidates should be within commuting distance to Richmond, VA.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Loop (implant/explant), leadless PPM, and lead extraction procedures.
Additional Information: The unit is a cardiac electrophysiology (EP) lab supporting both pre/post care and procedural workflows. Staff work both independently and collaboratively, providing a flexible and patient-centered approach aligned with unit policies and guidelines.
