Job Summary Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse (RN) Passaic, New Jersey. This position involves providing direct patient care within a Cardiovascular Laboratory environment, focusing on adult and geriatric populations. The role requires continuous communication with physicians regarding patient status, equipment management, and participation in quality improvement activities to ensure high standards of care.
Job Details
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Active state Registered Nurse (RN) License required. Current Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support (BCLS) (American Heart Association) required. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificate upon hire and to be maintained required. One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Laboratory performing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiovascular procedures or labs is advantageous.
Additional Information: The role involves monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities include assessing equipment readiness, obtaining supplies, and ensuring team needs are met. The position also involves active participation in performance improvement and continuous quality enhancement initiatives.
