Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Specialist Des Moines, IA. This position involves providing specialized care and support in the cardiac catheterization lab, focusing on structural heart procedures and advanced cardiac interventions. The role requires collaboration across multiple campuses and adherence to clinical standards.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA); State Licenses: Iowa or compact/multistate license required.
• Education and Experience: 0 years of experience required; 24 months of current Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) experience is highly preferred.
• Requirements: Active Iowa/IA license or multistate license at time of submission; proficiency in scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and precepting as needed.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include supporting catheterization procedures, monitoring patient status, and providing pre- and post-procedure care. Candidates must be willing to float across campuses if needed within minutes of each other.
• Submission requirements include current work history with relevant experience, professional references within 24 months, a drivers license, and certifications.
• Experience in structural heart procedures, electrophysiology (EP), and travel settings highly preferred. Trauma experience and previous cath lab monitoring preferred.
• Candidates must be willing to work 1-2 of the upcoming Summer holidays, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day.
