Job Summary A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse is needed in a healthcare facility to support the specialized cardiac procedures and patient care within the electrophysiology (EP) lab. This role involves circulating, monitoring, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures such as ablations, device implantations, and EP studies. The position requires expertise in the Epic electronic medical record system and previous experience in cardiac electrophysiology.
Job Details
Required Qualifications: BLS and ACLS certifications, valid license to submit, minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) or similar setting, experience with Epic EMR, minimum of 1 year of EP lab experience, preferred scrub experience in the EP lab sterile field, previous travel experience preferred.
Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Shifts are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with one week of education on Fridays. You must attend the scheduled education days. The assignment start date is 10/19/2026, ending 01/18/2027.
Additional Information: The role involves assisting with ablations, device implantations, and EP studies, with call responsibilities including three call nights per month (from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM), and one weekend shift (Friday through Sunday). Call response time is 20 minutes. No floating to Interventional Radiology; floating to Cath Lab for circulating and monitoring is required. Dress code is provided, and a one-week orientation on the unit will be provided after onboarding.
