Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to confidently read cardiac strips
• Experience titrating drips in a high-acuity setting preferred
• Comfortable participating in a call rotation, including weeknight, weekend, and holiday call as assigned
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Assist with a range of Cath Lab cases, including STEMI, NSTEMI, heart failure, congenital, TAVR, MitraClip, and peripheral interventions
• Monitor patients closely before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and the charge nurse to maintain efficient workflow
• Support emergent and scheduled procedures in a high-volume procedural environment
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow established clinical protocols
• Respond to call coverage needs and assist with emergent procedures when required
