Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 3–5 years of experience for a high-acuity cardiac and interventional radiology lab in Lewiston, ID.

Details

  • Located on the 2nd floor of a regional medical center designated as Level 3 Trauma, Level 1 Cardiac, and Level 2 Stroke
  • 2-room cardiac cath lab also performing interventional radiology and neuro/stroke cases
  • Procedures include cardiac diagnostics, STEMI, device implants, IR angiogram, runoff, stroke treatment, cerebral, AAA, and TCAR
  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • Philips Xper equipment used; Meditech EHR
  • 4x10-hour day shifts
  • Weekends are on-call/call-back only; approximately 10 call shifts per month
  • No float requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of cardiac cath lab experience required
  • ARRT or RCIS certification required for cath tech role
  • AHA certifications required
  • IR cath lab experience with neuro and stroke cases preferred
  • Previous travel assignment experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • This is a heavy IR lab that also provides stroke treatment and holds a Platinum Award designation as a Chest Pain Center
  • Candidates must be able to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding given the rural, high-acuity environment
  • Hospital-issued scrubs are provided and required — personal scrubs are not permitted
  • Candidates must live 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
  • Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
  • Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
