Job Summary:
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is available in Cumberland, Maryland. This role involves assisting cardiologists with invasive cardiac procedures such as right heart monitoring, myoendocardial biopsies, left heart catheterizations, and interventional procedures. The technologist will support all aspects of patient care and equipment operation within the catheterization laboratory environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited technical program; two years of relevant experience. Valid ARRT certification or registration as a Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Valid licenses in New York and Maryland.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The role requires assisting with various invasive cardiac procedures, preparing and operating appropriate equipment such as fluoroscopy, defibrillators, and monitoring devices, and maintaining accurate documentation.
