Job Summary: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position available in Nashua, New Hampshire. This role involves supporting and promoting the mission and values of the organization by performing scrubbing in for Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory procedures and Special Procedures. The technologist is responsible for preparing equipment, assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Must have 2 years of Cath Lab experience and be able to take call; current NH ARRT license; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification; completion of a certificate or degree course in radiologic technology; an equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for these requirements.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Balloon Pump and Impella competencies is preferred.
Additional Information: Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid. The healthcare organization reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts within a 13-week contract. Candidates are expected to review requisitions carefully, prepare patients and equipment for procedures, scrub and assist physicians, and maintain a neat and orderly procedural area. Flexibility to rotate among shifts or departments to meet patient care needs is also required.
