Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist in the specialty of Cath Lab Technology will support interventional procedures in a healthcare facility. This role involves following clearly defined procedures to aid cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses with technical analysis, patient assessment, monitoring, and communication to ensure safe and precise treatment under supervision. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care during interventional cardiac procedures.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS (AHA), RCES, CRT or RCIS accepted; 2 years of interventional Cath Lab experience with structural heart experience preferred.
• Education Requirements: Linked to certifications listed above.
• Location Requirements: Not specified.
• Years of Experience: 2 years, with a minimum of 0 years required.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, days, 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include accurately monitoring, operating fluoroscopy, performing IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and other interventional cardiac procedures.
• Required Certifications must be uploaded with valid expiration dates.
• Experience in adult and pediatric diagnostic catheterizations, equipment setup, PPE and isolation precautions, laser-assisted procedures, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, room circulation, vascular closure systems, ventricular assist device insertion, ultrasound, transcatheter procedures, and maintaining sterile fields.
• Additional qualifications include compliance with onboarding, 7-year work history verification, and verification of certifications and licensure.
• Submission instructions specify uploading licensure, certifications, references, and completing labs within 3-5 days of contract signing.
