Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in diagnostic and interventional procedures. Operate advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment to capture critical data of the heart and vascular system.




What You'll Need:


  • ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
  • ARRT, Fluoroscopy, and BLS certification required. ACLS preferred.
  • Current cath lab experience required. Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, airway management, and cardiac drips (for example Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors), and intra-aortic balloon pump support.
  • Experience with cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention procedures.
  • Experience using Cerner charting system preferred.
  • Experience working in a STEMI receiving facility preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hospital cath lab setting preferred.
  • Must be able to work as part of a 2-tech procedural team (1 scrubs, 1 monitor) and adapt to occasional 4-person cases and lead tech room assignments.
  • No first-time travelers for this assignment.
  • Orientation: 12 hours.



Minimum Requirements


  • Certifications: ARRT, Fluoroscopy, BLS. ACLS preferred.
  • Current cath lab experience required. Must demonstrate competency with conscious/moderate sedation and procedural airway management.
  • Experience with cardiac drips and balloon pump management required.
  • Familiarity with cases involving cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, IR, and neuro interventions.
  • Ability to work 10-hour shifts and rotate on-call for inpatient and emergent cases.
  • No first-time travelers accepted.



Assignment Details


  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Primary Specialty: Cath Lab Tech.
  • Shift Name: Days. 4x10 schedule.
  • Shift Notes: 10s, every other week (EOW) rotation. First to float. Call required including inpatient/emergent call rotation approximately 1x/week.
  • Weekend/Call Requirement: Approximately 1 weekend per month; weekend call typically runs Friday evening through Monday morning (subject to change based on unit needs).
  • Orientation Hours: 12 hours.
  • Charting System: Cerner.
  • Units/Suites: 5 labs/suites (2 primarily coronary; 1 peripheral; 1 vascular & neuro; 1 EP).
  • Average Case Volume: Varies; approximately 10–22 cases per day across suites.
  • Cancellation Policy: Hospital may cancel shifts up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment. Hospital may pay full hours for a particular shift in lieu of cancellation.
  • Agency provides traveler with radiation badge.
