Job Summary:
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is available in Schenectady, NY. The role involves providing specialized technical support in a fast-paced cardiac cath lab environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in complex procedures and independent in managing advanced cardiac techniques.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour days, 40 hours per week, starting on 08/03/2026
- Required Qualifications: Current radiologic technologist licensure, a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience, with the ability to be screened to management with 1 year of experience. Must be independent in left heart catheterization (LHC), right heart catheterization (RHC), complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), fractional flow reserve (FFR), and Ekos procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: No block scheduling will be approved. No RTO (Request for Time Off) will be considered. Candidate must hold a valid New York licensure and have at least 2 years of experience in the specialty. The role requires being available for on-call duties, including one day per week and every third weekend.
