Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Strong clinical assessment skills and confidence managing telemetry patients
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holiday rotation as scheduled
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced acute care environment

RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to adult medical/surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition
• Assess patients, administer medications, and carry out physician orders
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support individualized patient care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatment goals, and discharge instructions
• Respond quickly to clinical changes and escalate concerns when needed
