Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool night shift position requiring 2+ years of Tele/Med Surg and cardiac experience.

Details

• Float Pool assignment within an acute care hospital setting
• Must be able to float to other units as needed
• 495-bed facility, Level II Trauma Center
• Patient ratio averages 1:7 (not guaranteed)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Night shift schedule, 3x12's (6:45p - 7:15a)
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• No block scheduling accommodated

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA State or Compact) required
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA only) required
• Minimum 2 years of Tele/Med Surg experience required
• Cardiac experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
• US SSN required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across multiple units within a float pool structure to acute care patients
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code
• May request one holiday off; no more than two days of holiday RTO will be considered
• 13-26 week contract with January start dates acceptable
• Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius (reduced from standard 65-mile rule)
• Candidates must be well qualified with all required experience
