Job Details:
**Experience:** - Minimum 2 years of experience required. - Cardiac PCU experience is a must. - Previous Charge RN experience preferred. - First-time travelers are acceptable. - EPIC experience required. - Use of Rapid Response Teams preferred. **Certifications:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) required. - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required. - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) preferred. **Skills and Qualifications:** - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. - Telemetry - on-unit monitoring. - Pre/Post Cardiac Cath care. - Peripheral Line and PICC line management. - Management of Cardiac and Vasoactive drips with and without titration. - Procedural Sedation Administration and Monitoring. - Chest tubes-Emerson, Pleur-evac. - External CPAP/BIPAP management. - Tracheostomy Management. - Focus on cardiac patients (e.g., Congestive Heart Failure, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Arrhythmias). - Secondary focus on respiratory problems (e.g., COPD, pneumonia, Bipap). - Nurse-to-patient ratios mostly 1:5; 1:4 with drips/BIPAP. - EKG Exam compliance required. **Licensure:** - Active nursing license must be in hand at submission. **Additional Requirements:** - COVID-19 Vaccine required, with medical/religious exemptions only. - Flu Vaccine required, with medical/religious exemptions only. - No local candidates within a 50-mile radius. - Current driver's license required to verify address. - Compliance EKG exam required for all RNs (2 attempts allowed).
