Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Stepdown / Cath Lab Recovery and Observation Unit setting
• Titrate cardiac drips and monitor patient response to treatment
• Pull sheaths and monitor access sites following cardiac procedures
• Deliver general medical/surgical nursing care as required by patient acuity
• Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms throughout the shift

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Texas or compact license eligibility
• Demonstrated experience with cardiac drip titration
• Experience pulling sheaths and monitoring vascular access sites
• General medical/surgical patient care knowledge
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Cath Lab Recovery or Cardiac Observation Unit
• Familiarity with post-procedural cardiac patient monitoring protocols
