Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) with 2+ years of specialty experience and RDCS/RVT certification for a day shift contract role.

Details

  • 10-hour day shifts, schedule varies between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM
  • Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within the echocardiography specialty
  • Current BLS certification required
  • RDCS certification from ARDMS, or RCS/RCCS/ACS certification from CCI required
  • Additional vascular credential required: RVT (ARDMS), RVS (CCI), or RS (ARRT)
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Perform echocardiographic and vascular sonography studies as part of daily responsibilities
  • RTO requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested afterward
  • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; local candidates will not be accepted
  • Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
