Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech)
Location: Columbia, SC 29203
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12s
Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Monday | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Perform comprehensive adult echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound examinations.
Acquire high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
Evaluate cardiac structures, function, and hemodynamics using ultrasound technology.
Conduct vascular studies according to established protocols and standards.
Document findings accurately in Epic and maintain complete patient records.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout procedures.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support quality patient care.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to department quality standards.
Registered in Vascular Technology (ARDMS-RVT or CCI-RVS) required.
Registered in Echocardiography (ARDMS-AE, ARDMS-PE, and/or CCI-RCS) required.
Dual certification in Echo and Vascular required.
Current BLS Certification required.
Minimum 1 year of Epic experience required.
Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular imaging procedures.
Excellent communication, technical, and patient care skills.
