Description
Grant-Mill Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer for a travel assignment in Lawrenceville, Ga. This opportunity is designed for a skilled sonographer with recent echocardiography and vascular imaging experience who can transition confidently into a hospital-based diagnostic cardiology department.
Assignment Details
Weekly compensation: Up to $1900 per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Assignment dates: August 24–November 21, 2026
Shift: 10-hour day shifts
Typical hours: Approximately 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
Schedule: Varies based on department needs
Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements
Responsibilities
Perform adult echocardiography examinations
Conduct vascular ultrasound studies as assigned
Obtain accurate measurements and diagnostic-quality images
Identify abnormal findings and communicate concerns appropriately
Prepare patients and explain procedures before examinations
Maintain complete and accurate documentation
Follow established imaging protocols and safety standards
Collaborate with physicians and clinical team members
Maintain equipment and report operational concerns
Support department workflow in a fast-paced hospital environment
Required Qualifications
Minimum of two years of recent cardiac sonography experience
Current AHA Basic Life Support certification
Strong adult echocardiography experience
Current credential in echocardiography through one of the following:
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS
Registered Cardiac Sonographer through CCI
Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer through CCI
Advanced Cardiac Sonographer through CCI
Current vascular credential through one of the following:
Registered Vascular Technologist through ARDMS
Registered Vascular Specialist through CCI
Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography through ARRT
Ability to work 10-hour day shifts
Ability to begin the assignment on August 24, 2026
Must reside more than 50 miles from Gwinnett county
