• Call Requirement: No call or standby
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070 - $2,180

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent MedSurg or Stepdown RN experience required
• Active RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Comfortable titrating drips using provider-ordered parameters in an acute care setting
• Strong ability to interpret, monitor, and chart telemetry rhythms
• Experience with post-surgical thoracic and medicine patients preferred
• Ability to work weekend night shifts and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown and medical patients
• Monitor telemetry and document rhythm changes alongside patient assessments
• Administer and titrate medications such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Nitro, Esmolol, Heparin, and Lasix per orders
• Assess patients receiving BiPAP and tracheostomy support as needed
• Collaborate with the charge nurse, house supervisors, CNAs, and monitor techs to support safe, efficient patient care
• Deliver timely, compassionate nursing interventions in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
• Support a positive patient experience while contributing to strong unit teamwork
