• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Setting: Adult telemetry / cardiac-focused nursing unit
• Patient Ratio: 4:1
• Unit Size: 24 beds
• Start Date: September 27, 2026
• End Date: December 27, 2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,710 - $1,800

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg, telemetry, or cardiac nursing
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH certification
• Cerner experience required
• Experience using LifePak, Zoll, and Masimo preferred
• Associate degree in Nursing required
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Willingness to occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical units

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for general adult cardiac patients, from young adults to older adults
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond appropriately to changes in cardiac status
• Care for common diagnoses including chest pain, A-fib, CHF, and pre-/post-cardiac catheterization patients
• Support patients recovering from procedures such as VATS
• Perform ongoing assessments, medication administration, and nursing interventions within scope of practice
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Adapt to a collaborative, team-oriented unit culture focused on quality and patient-centered care
