• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Weekend Requirement: 4 shifts per month
• Charting System: Epic
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Setting: Cardiac intermediate care / telemetry / acute care

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of cardiac telemetry nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Strong clinical background in cardiac intermediate care, telemetry, and acute care / IMC nursing
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation, cardiac drips, and telemetry monitoring
• Ability to work night shifts and a consistent 3x12 schedule
• Trauma Level II experience required; Level I experience preferred
• Additional certifications such as NIHSS, PCCN, and BSN are preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients with complex cardiac and vascular conditions
• Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient status
• Provide care for patients with ACS, NSTEMI, heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-cath needs
• Support patients before and after cardiac procedures, including cath procedures, CABG, valve replacement, and TAVR
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies according to scope and unit protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary support teams to promote positive patient outcomes
• Float within acute care and intermediate care areas as needed to meet facility needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold strong patient safety standards
