Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• At least 1 year of relevant Registered Nurse experience required; 2 years of acute care hospital experience preferred
• Experience in telemetry nursing, including cardiac monitoring and strip interpretation
• Ability to manage cardiac drips and complete telemetry assessments
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Comfortable floating between multiple units and adapting to changing patient needs
• Strong communication, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips accurately
• Provide skilled nursing care for med-surg telemetry patients across multiple units
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips as indicated by patient condition and protocol
• Support care for ED border patients, acute mental health patients, and transfer-ready ICU patients as assigned
• Perform telemetry measurements and rhythm assessments every 4 hours as required
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient care
• Adapt quickly to different unit workflows, patient populations, and acuity levels
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow unit standards and hospital policies
