Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift, EOW position on a Medical Cardiology unit, requiring strong cardiac experience and active MA licensure.

Details

• 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit within a hospital setting
• Cares for post-cath patients including PCI, ICD, PPM, and Ablation procedures, using TR Band and femoral approach techniques
• RN to patient ratio of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights
• Night shift schedule (19:00-07:30) with every other weekend required
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification preferred
• 2+ years of recent experience with a strong cardiac background required
• Must be able to interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips
• 2 years of experience working as a traveler required
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Provide direct care to medical cardiology patients, including post-cardiac catheterization monitoring and management
• Interpret telemetry readings and administer cardiac drips as part of daily responsibilities
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate
• RTO must be disclosed at the time of consideration
